The Silver Skate Festival is Edmonton’s longest running winter festival.  Now entering our Twentieth year we are looking for good people who want to contribute and help to make this festival as fun as possible. We are only as successful as the volunteers who help contribute to make this Edmonton’s Premier Winter Festival.

Many exciting volunteer positions are available including:

•    Outdoor Site Preparation for Sculpture Garden & Interactive Family Area

•    Marathon and Triathalon Site Preparation

Set up & Race Registration
Food Services
Co-coordinator/Steward
Race Directors
Announcer
Lap counters

•    Snow Sculpture Area & Family Interactive Area

•    Public Programming

Expectations

Volunteers need to meet their commitment and have fun! Your weekend schedule will be determined by the volunteer coordinator and your availability. We ask that you attend a volunteer meeting before the festival to learn your duties. Attendance at the meeting is important.

Who Will Contact Me?

The Silver Skate Festival will contact you to confirm you volunteering and to give you an assignment. After you accept your volunteer assignment, you will be contacted by the volunteer coordinator to discuss specific tasks and to provide schedule and meeting information.
