Highlights include the Cessco Snow Sculpture Symposium, a Fire Sculpture Installation, “Land of the Golden Apples” Folk Trail, and a Heritage Village in celebration of Edmonton's rich cultural heritage featuring pioneer, francophone and aboriginal pieces.

This year's major sporting events include the Mammoet Edmonton Winter Triathlon, Northgate Industries Skate Races, Snow Shoe Races, Dead Cold Run and the Angus Watt Advisory Group  Kortebaan Races, a version of the traditional Dutch long blade sprint race.
