William Hawrelak Park (originally Mayfair Park) is a 68 hectare park in the river valley featuring a 5 ha. lake and open grassy areas.

Ice Skating at Hawrelak Park
Public skating is open throughout the dates of the festival. The City of Edmonton's public skating hours of operation are 11 AM - 10 PM DAILY.

Getting to Hawrelak Park

Take ETS
Route 128
On Saturdays, it operates on a 30 minute frequency in each direction.  It runs south bound at the Park gates to the University on the 25 and 55 minutes of each hour from 10:55 AM until the last bus at 6:55 PM.  The north bound service heading towards Westmount Mall is at the stop across the street from the Park Gate at 13 and 43 minutes of each hour with a first bus time of 10:43 PM and last bus time of 7:13 PM.
 
On Sundays, the Route 128 operates on a 60 minute schedule.  For south bound service at the Park Gate, the bus arrives at 10:05 AM and on every hour at 05 until the last bus arrival time of 7:05 PM.  For north bound bus service (across the street) the bus arrives at 10:23 AM and at 23 minutes after the hour until the last bus arrive at 7:23 PM.
 
Route 130 runs past Hawrelak Park, but only on Saturdays at 15 and 45 minutes after the hour south bound to the University and about 02 and 32 minutes after the hour north bound with a last time of 5:45 PM south bound and 6:02 PM north bound.
